“Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude.”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh
Thank you.
It’s the season for turkey and over-eating. But also, and much more filling, for gratitude. Gratitude has a way of resetting our outlook. It’s just about impossible to be truly grateful and unhappy at the same time.
So with a heart full of gratitude to you for accompanying me on this blogging journey all year – the hits and the misses – I want to thank you. I realize how busy you are. And I know what a gift a few minutes of your time is – especially now. I appreciate it. And I hope I’ve managed to give you a good idea or two along the way.
As always, I welcome your comments, suggestions, and contributions. This fundraising stuff is a group effort! And I wish you nothing but success… because the job we’re all doing is about making this a better world.
And I believe, together, we can do just that!
Thank you for your time. Thank you for your comments and your questions. I’m very grateful.
May this season fill you with happiness and reinvigorate you as you make the world a better place.
Mary, thank you for your thank-you post! I enjoy reading your blog. You often write about subjects that don’t receive a lot of attention but, nevertheless, deserve our attention. And I appreciate your style. For example, I think this is the very first nonprofit-related blog post I’ve read that has quoted Piglet. Well done!
I hope you and those you love have a healthy, happy Thanksgiving!
Thank you, Michael. And a very happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, as well!
