Gratitude is a blessing

Gratitude is a blessing. I hope you feel it.

On the day we in the US usually stop for at least a moment to think about our blessings, I want to thank you.

Thank you to my old friends, who do me the favor of reading these posts. Thank you to my new and yet-to-be friends who do the same. If I’ve been able to bring you something of value every once in a while, I’m very happy.

So on this day when we think about our blessings, I’ll be thinking of you – with gratitude.

May the blessing of the rain be on you—
the soft sweet rain.
May it fall upon your spirit
so that all the little flowers may spring up,
and shed their sweetness on the air.
May the blessing of the great rains be on you,
may they beat upon your spirit
and wash it fair and clean,
and leave there many a shining pool
where the blue of heaven shines,
and sometimes a star.
